The idea of Silk Lip Glaze started on a lunch date, when an SPF lip balm got offered with good intentions - except it couldn't go over my lip combo without ruining it or the lip balm. So I said no, and eventually I realised that no brand had made a lip SPF worth saying yes to for any and every occasion.
Gloss, cooling hydration, and SPF - all in the one product that you'll keep reaching for. It melts on like butter, cools on contact, and sets into a glazed, glass-like silky finish while SPF 35+ PA+++ guards against pigmentation, fine lines, and the volume loss daily sun exposure causes over time.
Every shade is built in-house to match undertones, six in total, named after the Italian towns where we practically tested them. Built from hundreds of real reviews of what people hate the most about lip SPF: the bitterness, the stickiness, the smell you can't 'unsmell'. What's left is a clean, juicy finish you'll want to put back on again and again.

FAQs
Do your lips need sun protection?
Yes! Your lips have almost no melanin, no oil glands, and skin that's 3-5x thinner than the rest of your face. The damage you see isn't one bad day - it's months of exposure with no protection. Your face gets SPF. So why not your lips?
Is it safe to use? What if we ingest the lip glaze while eating or drinking?
It is very safe to use. For it to become toxic, you will have to ingest 20+ full size of our lip glazes in under an hour. Reapplying the lip glaze even 8 to 10 times a day will not cause any harm, it will only give you utmost protection and hydration.
How does it fight pigmentation, fine lines and loss of volume?
90% of visible change in lip colour and texture over time comes down to one thing: UV exposure, not age itself. Consistent protection is what actually slows it. Not a new routine, just this one product, reapplied regularly.
When will my pigmentation reduce?
SPF doesn't erase existing pigmentation - it stops the trigger that keeps creating it. Once you remove daily UV exposure from the equation, your skin's natural cell turnover begins clearing what's already there. Think of it as turning off a tap: the water doesn't disappear overnight, but it does drain. Research on Indian skin types shows visible improvement in pigmented spots at 12 weeks of consistent daily application and reapplication. Results before that are possible - but 12 weeks/3 months is the honest benchmark.
Why is it a chemical lip screen and not a mineral one?
Mineral lipscreens exist but they are often heavy, leave a white cast or in lip glazes like ours lead to colours that wash out Indian skin tones – making it unfit to wear consistlently. We believe the most effective sunscreen is the one that you will use consistently which is why we thoughtfully formulated a chemical lipscreen that will feel not feel like one.
What makes it different from other lip SPFs?
Lip SPFs are often known for their bitter taste, sticky feeling, or strong smell (waxy or too much fragrance). We made one that has no taste, is lightweight and silky, has a mild chocolate fragrance that you can wear on a work day and on a vacation. We also formulated SLG with highly nourishing ingredients that will also lock in moisture, so lips stay hydrated through every reapplication, never giving chapped lips a chance to exist
Is it long-lasting?
It’ll stay for somewhere between 2-3 hours but that’s the point – so you reapply and stay protected until sunset.
How long will one SLG last me?
If reapplied thrice every day, one lip glaze will last you 3 months. You won’t need any other lip gloss or lip balm during this period. It has 7ml of product vs 3-4ml that any other lip gloss gives.
Are there any toxic filters used?
Our lipscreen is completely free of any toxic chemicals and is formulated as per EU regulations (strictest regulatory body). We have also made the formulation Oxybenzone and Octinoxate free for people concerned about the usage of such filters.
Can pregnant or breast feeding mothers use it?
While our ingredients are completely safe for use, it is best to consult your doctor regarding this as pregnancy is a complicated condition with multiple variables that should be considered before applying any product.
Is it Reef Safe?
Reef safe is currently an unregulated term with no credible research behind the term and it is defined differently by every region. However, we do not have Oxybenzone and Octinoxate in our formulation which seem to be the common ingredients excluded in every ‘reef safe’ definition.
Is it vegan, cruelty free and clean?
Yes – we are completely vegan, cruelty free. SLG has only necessary and toxic free ingredients required to have an effective formulation.
